Dan has over 15 years of experience as an enterprise software Product leader, and is passionate about delivering great products that make users better at what they do every day. Dan spent over a decade building and running the Product team at Guidewire Software as it grew from $2M to $350M in annual revenue (from customers in 17 countries). Dan also served on the executive team and participated in key strategic and operational decisions for the company. Most recently, he served as Head of Products at Ascend.io, a big data technology startup backed by Accel, Sequoia and Lightspeed.
Dan was an early pioneer in email marketing, A/B testing (before we knew to call it A/B testing), and other marketing approaches at RealNetworks in the late 1990s. Dan also led the product effort for E.piphany Sales, a “visionary” sales force automation product.
Dan holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from Yale University and has an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
